About Banh Mi Ngon
When our parents moved to New Jersey from Viet Nam, they brought along a passion for food and the dream of opening a Vietnamese hoagie/sandwich shop of their own. Adjusting to their new lives they put that goal aside momentarily, but the kitchen remained the heart and gathering place of our home. With our parents’ experience; over 20 years in the restaurant industry in Vietnam. Finally, Banh Mi Ngon comes to Cherry Hill, New Jersey. We offer daily fresh hoagies and sandwiches made with our families love and passion. From traditional recipes to trending flavors and healthy alternatives. . The Bread: Light, airy, and shatteringly crispy on the outside without tearing up the roof of your mouth. It holds up to heavy fillings while staying effortlessly flaky. . Standout Order — Crispy Roasted Pork Belly (#5): Unbeatable texture. The crunch of the pork skin paired with juicy, seasoned belly meat, creamy pate, and savory mayo makes every bite hit all the right notes. . The Fixings: Clean, freshly pickled daikon and carrots that cut through the richness of the meat, rounded out with fresh cilantro, cucumbers, and a punch of jalapeño heat. . Drink Pairings: Do not skip the Vietnamese Iced Milk Coffee (Cà Phê Sữa Đá) — bold, rich espresso sweetness that pairs seamlessly with the savory spice of the sandwich. The Takeaway: Whether you go for the classic pork belly, grilled chicken, or special combination, it delivers fast service, generous portions, and authentic flavors that make it a go-to neighborhood favorite.

Thank you for the delicious vegan tofu sandwich (banh mi chay) without the mayo and pate. I can’t tell what I enjoyed most—the bread, the tofu, or the veggies. It was really enjoyable! The tea was delicious as well!

Everyone who works here is so sweet and helpful with navigating the menu and their specialty fridge items. Their Bahn Mi and Pho are both great and tasty. Shout out to the Bahn Mi #1 on their menu, it's so good! It's a great spot to pop into for a quick and tasty meal on the go!

This is hands down my favorite spot for banh mi—nothing else compares. The bread is always perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the flavors are just chef’s kiss every time. The Banh Mi Thit Nguoi Cha Lua is my go-to—super flavorful, perfectly balanced, and packed with that classic savory taste. It pairs so well with the fresh veggies and pickled crunch. And don’t even get me started on the Bun Rieu—it’s rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. You can tell it’s made with care. I usually get their refreshing iced tea too, and honestly kind of regret not getting it this time—it always hits. If you’re craving authentic, fresh, and seriously delicious Vietnamese food, this place never misses. I keep coming back for a reason.

REPLY TO OWNER INCLUDED As a former regular, it’s depressing to see how much this place has deteriorated. They’ve cut cost so much it’s unrecognizable. I often ordered from this place multiple times a month so I can tell when they’ve switched to lower quality and smaller portions. On January 30th, I went in with my partner and ordered our usual. Also as per usual, we ordered extra veggies (extra charge). When we got our order, there were barely any veggies on it. When we talked to the front, they told us they’d talk to the kitchen about it. 5 minutes later, she comes back telling us that that is indeed the normal amount. I told her that we’re regulars and that this was indeed NOT the normal amount. The bread was smaller, meat was less, and veggies were nonexistent despite the extra charge. However, she said that I was wrong and that the normal amount would be EVEN less. As I was eating, all I could think was “what happened to this place.” I used to recommend this place to anyone who wanted great Banh Mi’s. Safe to say I won’t be a regular anymore and will not recommend this, as there are better restaurants out there. What a shame. Edit/Reply to owner (WITH NEW PICTURES): We actual
